"Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

"We had a great time in this village. It's so small and quiet but still close to a ton of things to do. Also very close to the beach and some fantastic seafood. My only suggestion is to put some screens on the windows. You can't keep the windows and shades open due to flies getting into the house. "The hotel location was perfect as far as distances between major cities. The staff were so helpful, courteous and friendly offering suggestions for sightseeing and eating. The rooms were very clean with plenty of space. The breakfast choices were excellent and they offered to make eggs any style if preferred. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again when I come back to Portugal "
