Nordic Hideaway at Wellington on the Beach

This newly renovated, Nordic-style suite includes a waterfront view of the lake, a private beach and top of the line features.

Conveniently located on Wellington Main Street, you can walk to all the main attractions, including local shops, restaurants, cafes, galleries and more.

Perfect for couples and intimate travelers, this spot is a truly romantic and cozy retreat. There's no better place to celebrate a special occasion with a loved one.

This suite is open concept, with the living, dining and kitchen all in one space. The bedroom and bathroom are just off of the open concept so everything you need is within a few steps and all on one level.

Note: the beach is raised above the waterline on the shore, so the sand doesn’t reach the lake. The hot tub on site is available for your use and shared with our other guest unit.

Kayaks are available on the property along with paddles and life jackets. There is a perfect little private beach you can paddle to up the shoreline.

NEW - Dunes Boat Tours

Discover the stunning beauty of Sandbanks Provincial Park and West Lake with our private pontoon boat tours. Our tours offer a unique and unforgettable way to experience the natural landscapes of the area.​ We offer 90 minute boat tours that will show you the key sights, or you can organize a custom tour for your group for 3 or 4 hours for up to 6 people. Your amount of time on the water is flexible, take advantage of the time you have to enjoy this amazing experience.

​Our boat is a Princecraft 18 foot pontoon boat that comfortably seats 6 passengers. Guests that book 4 nights or more are eligible to book a complimentary boat tour for 1 hour. Please be sure to inquire ahead to book.

Fall getaway

Went during pumpkin fest.. lovely location. Property was very clean - perfect for a couple hosts were great to suggest places to see and things to do. Would recommend if you are looking for a weekend getaway.

Excellent location and nice amenities

The stay has amazing amenities and is very nicely renovated. The property is also kept very clean and is located close to the attractions around Wellington and Sandbanks.

Perfect Wellington getaway

We had a great stay at the Nordic hideaway. It was well located walking distance to Wellington, and had the amenities to cook dinner in. We will be back!

Tranquil waterside haven

Lovely little spot in Wellington with all the conveniences of home. Clean and comfy. Great location to explore PEC. Enjoyed the water view, use of the kayaks and being close to everything in town.

Weekend in Wellington

Nice accommodation, space is a little tight but nice style and modern. Entry steps should have a railing and last step into house is high. Overall we would return.

This unit is exactly as advertised in the photos. Very clean and modern. Check-in was easy and communication with property manager was great. Lots of options for food and drink within walking distance.

Perfect rental for our getaway

My partner had an amazing weekend in Wellington. Our only (very small) complaint would be that we didn’t realize how close in proximity we would be to the owners. That being said, all of our interactions with them were very positive and even helpful to give us tips on our kayaking adventure. The room itself was very neat and had everything we needed. And the location was very convenient for us to go out for dinner, ice cream, and a walk along the beach.

Perfect for a couple getaway

We had a wonderful stay! It was a great location for exploring Prince Edward County. Clean with a comfortable bed and high quality linens. Kitchen appliance were top quality. Beautiful views of the lake from the back. The owners were very friendly and helpful with suggestions on good restaurants, wineries and breweries to go to in the area. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable!

Perfect Location

My husband and I visited Prince Edward County for our 25th wedding anniversary and this property was perfect. It’s very peaceful and has everything you could need. Our host was lovely and gave us wonderful recommendations for dinners and must do activities during our stay. We spent many evenings enjoying a glass of wine and reading a book by the water. Highly recommend!

Great weekend getaway!!!

Really Great location. Just a short walk to the restaurants and shops in Wellington. The place is very modern., very clean and nicely designed. Full kitchen and living room are great to have on a few day trip, much nicer than a hotel room. To be right on the water is amazing with excellent access to West Lake and Lake Ontario. Only a short kayak or paddleboard away from really nice beaches . Hosts are really friendly and have good recommendations for the area. Look forward to returning in the future.

Peaceful

Great location for us to enjoy the PEC area. The unit was very clean and was well equipped with everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our morning coffee and evening wine sitting on the deck enjoying the water views. Hubby and I had no issue with noise or privacy from owners adjacent unit - Very welcoming and friendly . Marcy was awesome providing information on the area and very responsive to any questions. Really enjoyed our week here - so relaxing .

Great get-away spot

We totally enjoyed our stay in Wellington. We love to hike, bike and paddle and all three were there in abundance. Location is great-- The house is right on the water and walking distance to Wellington Beach and downtown. The Millennium Trail is right up the road. Wineries everywhere. The rental has everything you would want-- state of the art kitchen, nice bathroom and bedroom and a lovely porch. The kayaks were very nice and super convenient. The owners were lovely; we especially liked meeting May,
