"Perfect spot to relax for a week. Rooms are a good size and the pool is nice and spacious. Plus, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Only a few downsides: the pool lining is black so the water gets really hot; the air con isn’t very efficient so rooms don’t get super cold; the hotel is a decent walk from most parts of the island so you need to take the hotel shuttle, which charges €5 per person each time. There is a sister hotel closer to the restaurants but lacks a pool. "

"Calacala was our favourite accomodation throughout all of Italy. The family-run service really shines through and the hospitality is unmatched. The food in the restaurant cooked by Salvatore and his team is some of the best we have ever eaten with a whole farm to table approach. Eduardo's garden/farm is beautiful to visit, and it equally shines through in the food. The rooms are comfortable, and we could access the whole island easily on an electric push bike. "Just returned from an 11-day trip to Italy. Stayed in 5 different hotels, most of which were booked through hotels.com. This was BY FAR the best accommodation of trip. The service was impeccable. I felt treated as if I were royalty. Breakfast is made to order and the selection is fabulous. My room had a lovely patio that was steps away from the pool. "It was only a 10 minute level walk to the ferry port. Room was very nice with a balcony facing the sea. We had many food options nearby and the historical areas were just a short walk away. Breakfast was very good, served on a terrace overlooking the sea. I highly recommend but if you have trouble with stairs, it is a 3 flight walk up to the room."

"A beautiful property, slightly difficult to find initially. The room is large and clean and very comfortable. Easy to walk from the port and also to the Marina Corricella. Dining options are good in both those areas. Walkable to some of the beaches too. Staff were very helpful in given you pointers on the best spots. If I’m ever back on Procida, I would definitely be more than happy to stay here again."

"The shower leaked and was dirty. Operators said they would send a cleaner - they did not do so. Shower drain was blocked. A repair man poured drain-cleaner down it . The bidet leaked onto the floor. The entire bathroom smelled permanently of stale urine. I purchased cleaning fluid, but this did not get rid of the smell. The toilet seat was not fixed to the toilet. "View from the terrace has a beautiful mountain view and is great for watching the hustle and bustle of the street below. Easy walk to the train station, lots of stores and restaurants close by. Easy downhill walk to the Archaeology museum. Staff were easy to get a hold of, and the suite itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Highly recommend if you are staying in Naples. "
