"We had reserved a room with a king bed but when we checked in we were told only a double double was available. We asked if she could check for anything available a little later(she said it was the only thing available right now) and after some searching she found a king that we were able to check into right away. We were polite and willing to wait but also Hilton Honors members. I’m not sure if either one had an affect but we did get a king bed. She was very professional for our check in. "

"Lovely hotel on seafront location in Santa Monica. Nice rooms with lovely decor. Complimentary filter coffee in the lobby (no facilities in the room) from 6-7am, complimentary beach towels when going to the beach (5 min walk) and bikes available for free to explore Santa Monica (although only 2 bikes for the entire hotel so may have yo wait if other guests are using). Overall, would definitely recommend."

"Staff was very friendly. The beach chairs and other equipment was nice to have. Very close to the pier/beach. The only thing wrong with the room, was no where to hang towels and the cabinet where they keep the fridge and bar/coffee was not very functional. Looked nice but something lower with some drawers would be more useful and then the tv could be centred between the beds. ( this last bit is me just being picky.) Overall great place to stay. Will definitely stay again and recommend it. "

"Furniture around property was not comfortable. Looks great but not easy to sit and enjoy the setting. The room was a bit deceiving from the online picture. The balcony view was of a wall covering the roof equipment not really a balcony view. For $1,800/ night could have been better Dinner at the Polo Lounge was awesome. Overall experience was good and private but for the price point could have been a bit better or more clearly represented online. "
