It’s has excellent service at the front desk and room clean. When we order the rooms threw expedía. I request for handicap room. The note was not taken. The lady in the front Reception gave us a handicap room.

Very simple, priced well. Good layover for sleep

Hotel entrance sign and front parking lot was not lit. Check-in was slow due to walk-ins trying to get rooms, no availability. The room was clean and neat. It seemed to have been sprayed down. The floor was slippery and there was an unusual odor, not unpleasant. The furniture was inexpensive and uncomfortable, hard wood chair. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains appreciated. Parking was adequate but lot is very worn with insufficient lighting.

The property stinks. The bad smell. It’s old. In the room, you doing good thing is the bed looks nice, but the furniture is old worn out. Give you a pleasant feeling that you want to lie down in bed take a bath in that room. The room was in the baseboard were mouse holes. I got the hell out quickly and didn’t refund the money Stay away from this place

The first two nights I was placed in the building where smoking was allowed. It had a horrible smell, and was not clean, my daughter became sick due to the animal smell, and cigarette smell. I was told I had to wait until sunday to see if their was another room available. The reception was amazing the two women who attended me were so kind, sweet, and attentive they made sure that my next available room was amazing, clean, and very comfortable in a non smoking area.

The front desk lady was great. Like every other motel 6 that I have stayed at, the property really needs some tlc. The room is big. The air conditioner unit is falling apart & didn’t work at first. the phone didn’t work to call the front desk. I kept working with it & got it to turn on. It would be nice if the people living at motel 6 would take more pride & help in keeping the area clean. They leave their trash any & everywhere which doesn’t help with the bug problems that people are reporting about on their reviews. The washing machine is a front loader which are typically larger than a top loader. The display screen says $3 but it charged me $3.50 maybe because I used hot water. The front desk had change for me to my laundry. The residents were friendly.

When we arrived the young man at the front desk seemed upset that we didn't book directly with them. The next day, there was knocking on our door, when I got to the locked door it was being opened. I pushed it closed and locked it. I asked who it was, he said it was maintenence. I said I was going to check with the front desk. The front desk verified it was maintenence, but we were not notified before and he didn't announce himself before opening the door. Also, on our 3rd day as we were leaving at 5:00 am for a day trip we requested our room to be cleaned and asked if we could please get fresh towels. The young lady at the front desk was very polite and sad she would pass on our request. When we returned after midnight the room had not been cleaned and there were no fresh towels. We've stayed at different motel 6 locations without any issues. Our experience at this location was very bad.

It’s a room with questionable neighbors

After my first reservation was cancelled by another booking site due to no rooms at a nicer hotel(due to overbooking),I had to look for a new place to stay. Options were limited, far away from where I wanted to be or very pricey due to being in downtown Providence. I was attracted to this property due to the price per night and fact that I could get a room with two beds and proximity to the highway. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful with a quick check in process. Sadly it seems they are only utilizing the back part of the motel as all the occupied rooms were down on the far end. The door used to get in did not lock so anyone could just walk in. Many sketchy people lingering around with their doors left ajar, people in and out at all times, and a smell of substances down the hall. The room itself was just ok, beds were comfy and clean but literally two flat pillows per bed, no blanket but rather a thin polyester coverlet. No iron, no blow dryer, no mini fridge, no microwave just bare bones no frills room. Bathroom was sorta clean but I noticed stray hairs once I went to shower but at this point I wasn’t going to leave or try and find a different room as it was late. My friends and I made the best of it but I wouldn’t go back, even for the cheap rate. Also there was a police patrol car parked in the front parking lot quite a few times when we were leaving or coming back. Not a good sign.
