"Loved our time at Borghetto Calcinaia. We enjoyed the pool, views of the lake, the gardens, the nearby towns. Ben was very helpful and we were delighted to have food at the house when we arrived. The property had everything we needed and it's very comfortable. Can't wait to return!"

"Had an amazing stay and wished we'd had longer there"

"We were 8 adults and loved our stay here. Pool is large and warm. Great accommodation. Good sized table outside for eating at. Very good communication before we went and property manager on hand if we needed anything during the stay. There are some lovely hilltop towns within 30 mins of the property, Arezzo is an hour away and there are restaurants and a supermarket 10 mins away. Can thoroughly recommend!!"

"We enjoyed a wonderful fortnight's stay at this beautiful home in the hills outside the village of Monterchi. The house sits on a ridge with far reaching views across the surrounding valleys, particularly stunning from the swimming pool. The owners were kind and thoughtful and there to offer assistance whenever needed. Their recommendations were spot on, especially the gelateria at the end of the Ponte Vecchio in Florence!!! "First off, Cortona is BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING! Such an amazing old walled city to walk, photograph and enjoy! Second, this property is one of the most beautiful and ancient places I’ve ever stayed! "Had a great time again with our family and the dogs. The house may not be the most modern, but it’s clean and huge, and so is the domain with its large terrace and amazing view. Roberto and Alicia are very helpful and are very respectful for you privacy. The region is perfect for hiking and mountain biking, and the restaurants and shops are not very expensive. So I would truly recommend this place is your into the true Italian rural /nature experience . We will definitely come back."

"We have just had a wonderful week here as a family of 5. It was initially very hard to locate, there are no signs and the sat nav brought us to the gates of an industrial looking building. However, when we discovered you could drive along to the next road entrance on the left and follow this around further to the left.. it leads to the stunning property. It could be better signposted.
