"Extremely comfortable home with a great sense of history. I booked for four days to take my four adult children and my teenage grandson away to celebrate a birthday. We enjoyed some lovely walks and explored the castle and church. In the evenings we played board games in the cosy sitting room and the formal dining room made mealtimes special. My wife, myself, one of my son's and his partner stayed for 5 nights during my other son's wedding celebrations. The wedding party was large so the fact that Ian and Vanessa have a number of properties in the courtyard was very appealing to the Groom. Our family stayed in the advertised property which has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Everything was as advertised on VRBO, in fact it...

"Was informed 3 days before stay that we would be staying in a different house to listing, which for us was ok. Clean bedding, comfortable beds. However the house although wasn't filthy it wasn't clean. The whole place looked like a family had just "popped out". Clothes hanging on doors, shoes left where they had just taken them off, generally a untidy house."
