I would recommend The Rock for lunch or cocktails and the Galapagos Deli for breakfast - their freshly baked bread is delicious. The Charles Darwin research centre is obviously worth a visit and is free!

"Boutique hotel with nice pool and hot tubs surrounded by lots of green and coloured trees. Very close to Santa Cruz restaurants and shops. Definitely recommend this hotel. Nice staff and good breakfast and served at the table."

Puerto Ayora is a friendly place to relax, find many excellent restaurants and bars.

We were a little disappointed with Puerto Ayora it is more commercialised that we thought. However we had a great time. Highlights - tortoises in Highlands, Seymour Norte and Las Grietas - oh and the street food at night.
