"Owners were very friendly and helpful. This is a family friendly hostal with no partying, drinking, loud music. Made it easy to sleep. Rooms are basic, no AC, no hot water but private bathroom in our room. Bedroom could use fresh coat of paint but everything was clean. For the price it was a great value. Without a car it is likely further from the beach than easily accessible. We had our own car so it was a short drive. We would definitely recommend this hostal."

"We always write what we did like and what we didn't like so much. Onto the not so much to get to the awesome! The only thing we can think of is we didn't feel as secure as we could have with the room. The windows can't be left open (screens) if you want your items as protected as possible that makes it stuffy and warmer in the room when you are gone. However, staff is around, it's a close knit community, theft would be rare and would probable come from a guest. We DID like the staff, amazing...

"The Manager, Elizabeth, went out of her way to help us non-Spanish-speaking visitors. She translated, made helpful suggestions, and was a delight to talk with. The property is 1/2 block off of the beach in the middle of the beach activity and is lovely. The rooms are clean and just the basics. Bed, side table, refrigerator, clean bathroom. "We stayed for 3 days and found the location convenient for exploring the Puerto Lopez area. I would note that the beds that are described as "queen size" would be called double beds in the US."
