Absolutely best value , the location real good , looks new , the bathroom is nice and modern . Even the size of the elevator is big . The breakfast doesn't get better . Cant remember a better breakfast. The front desk clerk was the nicest , from the day shift to the grave yard clerk also extremely nice . From someone as i that takes 25 trips a year it doesn't get better.

The hotel was a little further out of the main area than I had hoped when I booked it. No dining (other than the breakfast which we did not take).

Great location and spectacular view of the Vieux Port. The restaurant downstairs is nice too. My preferred location in Marseille.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ok. Expresso was more like filter coffee. One surprise: I was given the wrong information about taxi, but it was a younger staff member at the desk. The taxi she called for me added an 8 euro surcharge for Sunday and cost double what she said it would. Warning: the walls are very thin. I was woken at 3am when the neighbour returned to his room. The person made a lot of noise opening and closing their door, then there was banging around their room for about 20 minutes.

My room did have an ocean view as promised, however the slated ceiling meant i couldnt stand upright at the window. The shower door came off the shower as soon as i got out. I told the desk staff about it the following morning but no one ever came to fix it. However the room was clean and a good size for my needs. There is an elevator, but you have to climb 3 sets of stairs to get there, and only goes to the 4th floor. To get to my room on the 5th floor were 2 sets of stairs. The desk clerk upon my arrival helped me carry my suitcase up to my room. I got very sick my 2nd day there, and didn't have the energy to go out. I called for room service but was told it was not available at that time. The desk clerk offered to come to my room to show me how to use their wifi to order and pick up food locally. When he came to my room and could tell i was sick, he helpfully offered to puck up the food i wanted, took the cash i offered, and brought back my food and change. He was very nice, but in my fatigue and illness, i neglected to tip him- my apologies to him!
