Spacious Heron's Landing: Ranch-style 7-bedroom, 11-bed, 4-bath home with the same floor plan/amenities as Sunset Shores Lake House, Eagle's Nest, Swan Shores & Hawk's Haven. Enjoy private access to Upper Scott Lake from the front yard, or through the picture windows of our XL great room w/kitchen, dining & lounge. Incl. rec room, screened porch, deck w/dining, fire pit & private dock w/canoe. 2.5 hours from Chicago; 3 hours from Detroit.

The Space:
Heron's Landing is a lovingly-decorated, all-new construction, ranch-style vacation home set on a large, private lot on the east shore of Upper Scott Lake. Heron’s Landing is set back from the water’s edge with room for a grassy lawn and a fire pit between the house and the small, private swimming area with a dock. The home has 7 bedrooms & 4 full bathrooms, as well as a great room area that includes: a full kitchen, 4-seat breakfast/games table, lounge area with leather sofa seating & large-screen (55") HD TV with satellite service & DVD player, and a dining area with extra-large (12-person) table. The rec room features pool, air hockey, and foosball tables, as well as a 2nd large-screen (55") HD TV lounge area with leather sofa seating. The screened porch off the great room features a ceiling fan & 7-pc. dining set. Our lake-facing deck includes 2 large outdoor dining tables with bench & chair seating for up to 16, as well as an XL Titan park-style all-season charcoal grill (new for spring 2024; BYO charcoal & starter fluid).

Guest Access:
You will have access to the entire property. Guests have the flexibility to gain convenient access to our home via the keypad entry system any time after the designated check-in time on their scheduled arrival date.

The Neighborhood:
Heron's Landing is just one of our getaways here in Michigan! In spring, enjoy the vibrant blooms and greenery. Summer brings fun on the water—boating, swimming, and soaking up the sun. Fall allows for scenic walks through the nearby Allegan State Game Area or our own hiking paths in the area. And of course, winter offers skiing, snowmobiling, ice skating, and snow-filled fun.
We’re 10-15 minutes from Crane’s Orchards and Dutch Farms - amazing pies and fruit picking. Fenn Valley Winery offers tastings and tours. Antique lovers, the area has a treasure trove of stores in South Haven, Allegan, Douglas, and Saugatuck. Summer brings dune rides, South Haven & Saugatuck's beautiful beaches, biking trails, and fruit galore: cherries, blueberries, raspberries, and peaches.
Note: We aim to maintain a peaceful environment for all our guests and neighbors. Large, disruptive parties are not allowed.

Getting Around:
To explore all the amazing spots in Southwest Michigan, you’ll definitely need a car! We are conveniently located to coastal towns—just 15 minutes from downtown South Haven, 20 minutes from Saugatuck, and 25 minutes from Holland.
Please note: We currently don’t offer electric vehicle (EV) charging on-site. Attempting to charge an EV here damages our electrical system, any violations will incur a $400.00 fee plus any repair costs. Thank you for helping us keep things running smoothly!

Other Things to Note:
Wi-Fi internet is provided by AT&T, but they only offer limited speeds best suited to web browsing & checking email. More than a few connected devices at a time will cause lag. We provide satellite TV & DVD players for all our homes since video streaming is not an option.
Loud parties with excessive alcohol/drug use are not allowed. All drinking games are prohibited. Township-mandated quiet hours are from 10 PM-8 AM daily. We ask that nothing be stuck to our walls since this will damage the paint. You may not use tinsel, glitter, confetti, feathers, etc. during your stay since these leave a mess that is hard & time-consuming for our small staff to clean up.
No EV charging, smoking, fireworks, vaping, marijuana use, or pets/animals. No exceptions.
Note: Our Docks, Watercraft, Gas Grills & Outdoor Dining Furniture Are Not Available Oct 25-Apr 15.
