Punta Cancun Holidays

This was our first time at this resort and it was amazing. The staff was more than top notch. Everyone seemed to be happy to help and be available for you at any time. The room upgrade was perfect!! The rooms and resort was clean and I had no issues with anything!! Thank you for a stay we will always remember.

All the staff was very nice! Better service than I expected. We had a lot of fun. The entertainment was great. I didn't like to wait 40 minutes in line to make a dinner reservation. They have the same staff taking dinner reservations and doing other things so it took so long when other people were signing up for something else.

Great property. It’s small and mostly quiet with very friendly staff. Don’t come here if you want to party. The food was great quality and variety. I loved the 24 hour room service. It was well run and they had a good selection of food. The beach is always calm and you can walk in either direction to another beach if you want. They have a big pier that you can dive off of and float around, snorkel etc. We saw some cool fish and stingrays around the pier. We took Ubers to Costco, Walmart and La Isla shopping centre. If you time it right they are cheaper and nicer cars than the taxis. Our room was a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit and it was very comfortable. 3 lcd tvs and a great kitchen. There is also a cute resort cat that’s been around for 12 years apparently. See if you can find him and give him a scratch on his belly and a treat. I’d definitely go back.

The Royal Sands was an absolute treat. Great, family friendly hotel and facilities that have our young family different options for each day. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back !

We arrived after having to get our own transportation, which we had pre-arranged and the hotel lost. When they let me know what room I had, they mentioned there was no window(!) So of course I was charged extra to get a room with a window. Then there was the part about my booking about my reservation not being all-inclusive. Which most of the staff made me uncomfortable about. The hotel is one of the originals, so it's a bit out dated. All in all this was an average stay if not for the beautiful ocean that made up for it. I would not recommend this hotel. And I feel they should let travelers know about rooms without a window. That might be important to someone.
