Both Blue Island and Paradise Island offers breakfast, lunch and dinner (dinner on demand) that can be served directly at Villa Gabi's table as if we were part of the restaurants: they also serve drinks to the public. Also at only a 5 minute walk, you can enjoy Lino's Pizza, an authentic Italian that makes an incredible pizza.

The perfect Dominican spot with one of the country’s least percentile of precipitation (it almost doesn't rain), a great condition to guaranty a wonderful outdoor vacation.

Personnel included: Our maid is available for daily cleaning and our gardener sleeps on the premises in a hut outside to assure your safety and comfort.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful villa. We really appreciated how clean and safe everything was and how seamless check-in was. The whole staff, from the property managers to the restaurant staff across the street were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend staying here.

Amazing location and great service
I stayed here with my husband and some friends that had kids. This place was perfect. Right next to the beach and a restaurant. We took an excursion to cayo arena with the same staff and it was absolutely worth it. Maria Esther was the cleaning lady who also cooks and her dishes were so delicious. The villa itself is comfortable and clean and the hot tub is an added plus. The only thing was that staff were allowed to enter at anytime during the day which was odd but overall it was a great experience

This place was excellent. Nelson, Maria, Kleiby, and his family were the best people we found during our vacation. They treated us like their family. We felt at home. We loved the place, the food, the Blue Island restaurant, and the trip to Cayo Arena, Mangrove, and the attention from all of them made our vacation unforgettable.

Natalie & Carl-Philippe were the most accommodating hosts. Their team is amazing - anything and everything catered if one requires. The house is beautiful. The beach is amazing. The locals are friendly. The catamaran blew my mind! If you are looking for white beaches and super blue sea and sky then this is for you. We couldn't have asked for more. Spectacular and so amazing!!! Massive love to Blue Island xx

Across a small dirt road is a beach club on a pristine beach w Adirondack chairs for the house. Private dip pool w/ a hammock beside it at home is pretty clutch w a kid(s). Everyone we met went above and beyond. Ani, the house keeper, cooked amazing Dominican meals, definitely recommend AND the trip to the island and mangroves is worth getting up early. The house was beautiful and clean but really the owners and staff went above and beyond every time and were very very welcoming and friendly. Can’t wait to go back!!

Amazing
This house is everything you can dream of! I highly recommend it. The attention to detail was great. Nelson the person who welcome us was GREAT! The pool the rooms and the bathroom everything was beautiful. Enough space for a family. I went with two little ones and this house was perfect. I do have to say watch out for mosquitos but that’s all over the country. The AC the laundry and fridge everything worked great. More than enough towels which is always a plus and I didn’t have to worry about shampoo or soap another huge plus. Literally steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been on. Super child friendly and we walked from our house to the beach barefoot that’s how close it is. AGAIN, highly recommend this house.

Very Authentic Dominican experience
My husband and I just spent a week at Punta Rucia. We loved everyone involved with this property and Blue island. They are friendly, warm, and helpful. The food at Blue Island is fantastic. The beach of Punta Rusia is beautiful and very un touristy. The only thing that I didn’t love, probably because I live in a quiet suburb, was the fact that the property is sandwiched between two parking lots for 2 smaller resorts. The noise from motorcycles etc made some of the relaxation hard to come by while at the home. That being said, you have access the the Blue Island resort which is very quiet and peaceful and has amazing views of the ocean and beach.

Amazing home and location
If you’re looking for a place where you can feel like you are in paradise with all the comforts of home then look no further! With all the amenities you need (and didn’t know you needed), fully stocked kitchen (all you need is food), bedrooms and bathrooms and great attention to detail this is the place to be! Natalie and Carl Phillip are always available and very attentive, the restaurant is so close and convenient and just steps from the crystal clear beach! Do yourself a favor and take the trip to Cayo arena if it’s available you will not regret it! I have already recommended it and will continue to do so. I will be coming back very soon! Thank you!

Beautiful
This home was beautiful and very comfortable for our family of four. The service was impeccable both at the home and at the restaurant next door. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. Meals next door were incredible and our adventure to the island was top notch. Our host greeted us at our arrival and even helped us to exchange our currency so we would have cash on hand for the first leg of our trip. The gardener even rinsed off our rental car before we departed. A beautiful stay.

Amazing house, amazing host amazing location
This is my second time staying un Punta Rucia and it wont be my last. I love the relaxing atmosphere and the closeness this house has to the beach - it's a 2 minute walk. The house is in front fo Blue Island Beach Club which has great food. The hosts, Nathalie and Carl were extremely warm and welcoming. If you are looking to a beach location to relax this is your home.

Great place to Relax
We walked and drove the area, and we feel we had made the best choice for our stay. Very quiet and private, and CLEAN. I like to cook, the kitchen was well stocked with high quality pots, pans, gadgets, appliances and lots of dishes. Short walk across the road to the beach. Felt very safe in this small village. Everything you need or want to see is offered by the hosts. We drove to Ensanada Beach for the day, resteraunts there, beautiful beach, great for kids. Trip to Paradise Island is a must do. A walk to Lino's pizzeria for authentic Italian pizza, delicious. Pool was very relaxing. Only suggestion I would make is a small table for 4 on the patio. We like to play games and cards, The dining table was too large for that purpose, and we would rather be outside anyway. Would highly recommend!

Better than the pictures...wonderful secluded stay!
Had the opportunity to stay at the property and loved it! It was simple, elegant, and charming. The outside decor and high fences around the property made it seem like our own secluded resort. While the beautiful beach is only a very short walk (it is literally across the street), the pool was a great addition to break up the day, and keep cool in a more private atmosphere. Bedrooms and bathrooms were in great condition, and the maid service does a great job in ensuring everything stays clean, especially considering all the sand that we can track in the house after a day at the beach. Beds were very comfortable, however we would recommend spending a bit extra for the air conditioning at night, particularly if you are normally from a cool climate. Also be sure to bring high intensity sunscreen insect repellent is a must (you can ask the driver to stop at the local store to get some - we recommend Nivea for sunscreen). As in any tropical location, mosquitoes and UV rays love tourists and you will want to be prepared Seclusion is the idea when you come to Punta Rucia, so there is not much at all in terms of shops, stores, or restaurants anywhere nearby. While there is a good restaurant only a few steps away, we would very strongly recommend the maid Annie to double as your chef during your stay for the extra fee. She cooks amazing food and can fetch you fresh fish, lobster, and chicken as well as some great authentic Dominican breakfast. Be sure to speak with the owners Natalie and Carl-Phillipe to help you organize this beforehand, you will not be disappointed! The rest of the staff is extremely pleasant and welcoming - just be advised that most people do not speak English. However they do understand some and will try their best to please and normally gets it right the first time. The chauffeur for the property also doubles as a boat captain who took us to Cayo Arena (Paradise Island) and a boat tour of the mangroves nearby, which is something not to miss while here! As our last day of our vacation neared, we left bittersweet - sad to know that we were leaving (we told Annie that we already missed her before she left :) ) but happy to know of this place and the opportunity to soon make plans to return. Thanks to Natalie, Carl-Phillipe for allowing us to stay at their gorgeous property, and to the staff to helping us feel like we were home!

Hidden paradise!
I recently traveled to Punta Rucia with 3 of my friends. We have NEVER had such an amazing vacation! The house is beautiful just as pictured. The owners are very sweet and quick to respond with any questions. All inclusive resorts are overrated, this is how you should vacation! The water is beautiful. Punta Rucia is a peace of heaven the rest of the world has not yet found. The locals are the friendliest people we have ever met. We felt safe walking around town even at night. There are several places to eat in town including pizza, French, American, and a resort close by. If you drink or eat at either Paradise Island or Gogonza Beach you can sit in their lounge chairs all day for free. We did this several days. Cayo Arena is a must! Kleiby makes the vacation! You are missing out if you don’t let him take you to Cayo Arena. If you are American and have never driven in the DR, we HIGHLY suggest not driving. Pay for the shuttle (also Kleiby if flying into Puerto Plata) it is worth every penny. Lena was our housekeeper and she is precious! Alfonzo is great and lives right across the street. We always felt very safe. Tips: take plenty of sunscreen and bug spray. The mosquitos aren’t bad but they are present. Buy groceries at the supermarket, including paper towels. Know that English is not widely spoken. Knowing some Spanish or French or having an app is helpful. Ask for “Pinky” at Paradise Island if you need someone who speaks fluent English. He is also adorably awesome. We have left a peace of our hearts in Punta Rucia and made some unforgettable friends. We are already planning our next trips back. Until next time our new favorite place! Truly a slice of heaven.

Ideal for beach lovers
Excellent 'get away from it all' holiday location. Peaceful, relaxing, unspoiled and not over developed in any way. Local people are friendly and the staff at the property are very pleasant. A special mention must go to Kleiby, for whom nothing was too much trouble. If you do nothing else on your holiday do make sure that you go snorkelling at Paradise Island - the fish are spectacular.

Fantastic, relaxing family getaway spot! Great people, great place!
Villa Gabi is a restful, well-equipped villa, just a few hops from the beach. The staff were professional, helpful, efficient and friendly. The property manager, Alphonso, was very diligent and always close by to help when assistance was needed. Thanks to his vigilance we were able to access the villa when we arrived very late due to a flight delay. The town is quiet and peaceful with enough small, friendly eating places to enjoy when you have the urge to "eat out". Our captain, Kleiby, who took us on a cruise to Paradise Island for snorkeling, was a perfectly skilled captain and thoughtful companion on our day trip. The owners, Natalie and Carl-Philippe, communicated swiftly via email and offered helpful tips and support. Overall, it was a wonderful stay for us. We highly recommended it!

Great Villa - Fabulous People
We stayed the entire month of January 1017 at Villa Gabi. The villa is comfortable and looks exactly like the pictures. Staff - FABULOUS!! Warm, welcoming and they took excellent care of the villa and anything we needed. Kleiby, Melatise and Alfonso couldn't have done more to make our stay any better. Beach - Just a few steps away is a beautiful, swimmable beach and a day resort with plenty of beach beds/chairs, drinks and food. They were extremely accommodating and the prices were great. Villa - Actually a bit nicer than pictured, housekeeping daily, grounds maintained daily, security all night. Not that you need security. It was safe and you are more likely to get mugged in Hawaii than here. We enjoyed it. Negatives - Only one and that is more comfortable furniture in the living room would be nice. If you have more than a couple people there really isn't any comfortable seating as the sofa is small and boxy and the other chairs are like director's chairs. Also, mosquito nets on the beds would be a must if we were to go back. AND - the mosquitos. Brutal. Bring lots and lots and lots of repellant - You'll need it. Overall it was a fantastic experience and we would highly recommend this villa. The local people are wonderful and we made lifelong friends. Worth every penny to stay here.
