"This is our 2nd stay at Le Douluch and it was as good as the 1st time. The house is gorgeous and well laid out. All communication with the owners was very clear and friendly and the manager Suzanne was lovely. The house is in a really tranquil area of France which isn’t hugely touristy but the pool is fabulous and private when the weather is good. We had a few overcast days this time but used that to explore the local area and would definitely recommend the chocolate made by the nuns at Abbaye...

"The property setting is beautiful! the interior and exterior is immaculate, spacious and extremely accommodating. Vincente is an excellent host, making sure all of our needs were met. I will say it is helpful to have someone who speaks French, my husband is fluent which helped tremendously since Vincente does not speak a word of English. "My husband and I had a wonderful stay here for 1 week. It is a beautiful property in a quiet, peaceful location. You can often see deer in the field. Kitchen is well stocked. "This was a two night stopover to allow us to ride around the Cantel region and, in particular, the rim of the volcano (long since gone). The appearance of th hotel upon arrival gives little credit for how comfortable the rooms are and how pleasing the restaurant is. It is little surprise that the hotel is used by tradesmen and appears to be full all the time. Very pleased with our stay and would recommend."

"A friendly and helpful welcome to the Hotel and soon booked into our room and explained where to park our vehicle once we had unloaded. The hotel has a very traditional feel downstairs, charming. The corridors and the rooms themselves were decorated in a very dark scheme, which even with the lights on was a little difficult to always see well. The room was large and comfortable although the bathroom was clean it was a little dated in design. The hotel restaurant was excellent with a lovely evening meal. Not the cheapest in town, but excellent quality and again, very friendly staff. "

"The stunning building has wow factors at every turn. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large, well decorated, and completely individual. The breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful. The location is right in the centre of this beautiful old town that is well worth exploring. I recommend staying here to anyone. "

"Really lovely relaxing holiday. The location is 10 minutes from the airport and only a 20 minute drive from Rodez. "Just a one night stay, sadly. Easy parking just over the road. Lovely room in top condition. Earplugs kindly supplied to help deal with the road noise from the bridge, but we didn't find it overly disturbing. Breakfast very good, but at 15 Euros the priciest of our trip round France. They also seemed understaffed at breakfast as the same staff were having to juggle reception duties as well."
