From the rustic feel of the cabin to the pond right outside the front door, we couldn't have asked for more. Plus, civilization was only a short drive for dinner or sitting in the bar, just enjoying each others company. This was definitely one of our favorite get-aways!"

"I have stayed at Lancaster Arts several times and each has been perfect for me... pleasant and artful spaces and rooms, friendly staff, clean, convenient location and accessible by car or with a reasonable walk from the train station. I would give the included breakfast 4 out of 5 stars - quite good by American standards. I am vegetarian and the restaurant is not an option for me, but there is a tavern and a Thai restaurant nearby. I enjoy seeing the repurposed interiors - and exterior. I think it is great value."

"It was. Dry basic but clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a posh, high end accommodation this is probably not for you. Very basic but the perfect “different” novel stay. Beds were comfortable. Just needed a bit of storage in the bathroom. The dining car was very accommodating and the food good."
