Visit to Quepos

It was a good trip. The beds are just double size and a bit small. Mattress was kind of hard. Lovely sunset views. Not really walkable to town (very steep). Aircon worked great.

This new, well-equipped property sits at the end of the road on a hill overlooking the marina with a magnificent view of the ocean. Downtown Quepos, with plenty of restaurants, is about five minutes away. The entrace to Manuel Antonio National Park is a short 18-minute drive.

We stayed in the Jungle Room, and it was spectacular. The view of the ocean from the two hanging chairs was amazing. Not only was the ocean beautiful, but we saw squirrel monkeys, scarlet macaws, and more, right from the room. Having the room open to the ocean also meant sleeping to the sound of waves crashing and waking up to the sounds of birds. Basically what you think of when you dream about paradise. If we come back to Quepos, we will be looking to stay here again.

This house is perfect for those searching tranquility, it is comfortable, very practical, very well equipped and with an amazing view. Just the mattress, was a little worn-out, not too terrible, but for longer stays it could be an issue for us. Reymar is super kind and helpful. We will certainly come back.

This property has a fantastic view of the sunsets as well as a very nice interior. Full kitchen for any of your cooking needs, accessible by vehicle as long as it is smaller. I however opted to walk unless I was being picked up by your guides. The closest restaurants are a 10 minute walk away and Quepos is only 15 for the closest grocery store. Fantastic, host communication and friendliness. Would recommend to many for the price and quality you receive

Good for some, not for others

When I booked this place, Remar told me there were a few steps. There are many steps to Sunset Lovers apartment, and the driveway is steep. It's location above the marina is convenient, but for people like me, not walkable. The drive up the hill is challenging. The view is beautiful but a large new building and a crane mar portions of it. 90% of this place is open; only the bedroom is enclosed and has AC. This openness is nice but lots of bugs are your guests. The kitchen and bathrooms are good with nice hot water, but you can't put toilet paper in the toilet. The living area furniture looks nice but is very uncomfortable. The bed was OK. Though it poured rain all night, the place stayed dry, despite being so open. There are monkeys in the area. The owners are very nice people. If you don't like bugs or humid heat, this is not the place for you. Othewise, you might really like it.

We had a great stay at Casa Federico. Our check-in was flawless even though we got in a bit after 10:00pm thanks to Rey who waited for us to make sure we got in safely. The Casa has a fabulous view of the ocean and the Sunset is outstanding! The condo is mostly outside so you may get a few bugs and critters visiting you during your stay. If you don’t have a car the climb up the hill is quite steep but doable.

Staying at Casa Federico was an absolutely wonderful experience. The views were gorgeous and we were visited by macaws and monkeys. The host was very helpful and gracious. He even helped us get a tour of the Manuel Antonio Park when our original tour was cancelled. Staying at Casa Federico was the perfect end to our vacation and I would go back there in a heartbeat.

Our stay at Casa Federico was amazing. Reymar was a fantastic host, offered to drive us around or call a car for us if we needed one, and addressed a couple minor issues we had almost immediately. After making our reservation we were contacted by the host and asked to make a deposit using an online portal (outside of Expedia) and pay the remainder in cash. At first we had some concerns about this but everything went smoothly. Rey met us at the bottom of the mountain across from the Marina when we arrived in town. The walk up to the property is quite steep so depending on your fitness level you can either walk (what we did) or you can use a car (message Rey, call a taxi, rental car, etc.). From the property you can see the Marina and the ocean. The views were amazing. The property was comfortable and had everything we needed to cook some meals in the evenings. We mostly walked into town or to the marina to eat. Then we would stop in one of the many grocery stores in the area and pick up a few things for the room. We had monkeys and iguanas visit us most days. When we return to the area in the future we would prefer to stay at Casa Federico if possible. No complaints.

Fue la mejor experiencia que tuve ! El lugar is breath taking !! Con la veranda mirando right to Marina of Quepos !! Realmente increíble view ! The area es muy segura y el anfitrión Reymar fue fantástico ,me accesoro con lugares a visitar , como viajar , y he went to an extra mile advising me with other places in Costa Rica !!
