"My family and I stayed for 5 days at the residence (not at the hotel). The duplex apartment had seen better days and was not very clean but it was functional with a large balcony. Ker Juliet is a bit away from downtown Pornichet but next to a beautiful beach and walkway along a cliff. There are also a few stores nearby (bakery, boucherie, grocery store). "Hotel is clean and has everything we needed. Staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Bus service is right outside the hotel into Saint Nazaire, which we took advantage of, we also walked into the centre in about 45 minutes, a pleasant walk, taking in the ship yards and views of the bridge. Lots of history and lovely beach in Saint Nazaire, well worth a visit."

Long held ambition

"I had long dreamed of the perfect French resort hotel on a quiet beach on the basis of the Jaques Tati film. The location is still lovely with a golden sand beach, a sunny southern aspect and the same rocks as in the film. The hotel has areas such as staircases and corridors that are tired but the rooms are fine (although small) and the breakfast area great. Also the bar outside is welcoming. Reception, notably Antoine, were very helpful. "
