"Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans la maison de Paulette. Très bien située, proche des commerces mais aussi très pratique pour visiter la région. Un très grand jardin avec trampoline, piscine et jeux pour les enfants. Cuisine bien équipée et accueil chaleureux. La maison est une ancienne bâtisse typique de la région et les lits sont confortables. Un vrai bonheur. Nous reviendrons."

"The house is a very impressive conversion of a barn and farmhouse. The height of the central area does mean that there is an inevitable lack of natural light at either end however. The kitchen, with lights on, is excellent and very well equipped but the TV area is rather gloomy, at least in September. The plan of the house provided by Bruce clearly shows all the little flights of stairs but they do make getting around a bit complicated. For example, anyone using the third bedroom would have to...

"This was a family trip from America. First time in France, loved the city but was so nice to come back to our home for the week in the country. We all fell in love with everything. The host was very kind, helpful and was a nice part of our week. Thank you for allowing us to live in your world for a memorable week. The home had everything you needed a lot of nice bedrooms and baths. Fun for the whole family!"

We made friends with the cows, the crickets and birds. Exactly what we needed from our holiday. The little village which it’s close to has a friendly cafe and the closest town, Cluny, is one of the most charming and authentic little Burgandy towns I’ve visited. "Our host was very helpful even making last-minute reservations at a 5 Star restaurant. This is a country home with all the charm. We had all the basic needs and it is a short drive to stores and restaurants. There are some steps to get to the bedrooms. Soap and Shampoo are bring your own. All linens and towels were provided as was a fully functioning Kitchen. If you need ice for cocktails buy it before you check in. Highly recommend if touring in this Wine region."

"Very inconveniant to get there due to limited staffing hours. Arrived by plane at LYS airport - had to take a cab to make it before 9PM (when staff desk is unmanned). Cost me 120 euros! :( Extremely limited room space for myself and my family. Bathroom was barely big enough to fit an adult. The front desk worker was helpful giving us directions to get back to Lyon via public transit."

Overnight stay.

"Pleasant hotel and very good position for getting on/off motorway en route south. Comfortable room and comfy beds! No aircon and room very hot ...it was 33° outside. Had to open window which meant lots of flying things came in! Nice to get a kettle in the room.....a definite plus when in France. Most hotels do not offer this. Only gripe is paper cups...our drinks , both hot and cold began to seep through the bottom of them! Please use proper mugs! Good breakfast although basic!"
