"Exceeded my expectations. The property is a bit dated / could use some upkeep, eg. caulking in the showers. However the property itself, views, pool, grounds was just incredible. Food at breakfast was also very good, staff was helpful. Really glad we stayed! "

"We loved staying here, the property was very well equipped, had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed many evenings cooking in the outdoor kitchen then eating our meal on the terrace looking out over the beautiful views. The property is on a steep hill, so the walk down to Ponte do Sol although only just over a km has a steep climb back up. This didn't stop us and the views again were amazing. Whilst staying at this property we were able to walk one of the Levada walks right from the door...

"Juan’s home was perfect. Situated on the hill above town and the ocean, it was truly a special place. The home was beautifully decorated and furnished with everything we could possibly need. He even gave us a tour of his amazing gardens and picked fresh fruit, vegetables and eggs for us to enjoy. Truly a special stay. Thank you!"
