"Really enjoyed our relaxing stay at Brightwater. Great little cottage, very clean & tidy with all the appliances you need. Very peaceful to sit on the veranda & watch the birds. Checking in & out was very easy & George the owner was lovely to deal with - thank you! Awesome location that allowed us to travel & enjoy the Hunter Valley, Newcastle & the Entrance. We can’t wait to visit again "

"We all had a fabulous time at this house. It was the perfect setting for a massive couples weekend away. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms, and brilliant gathering space. It wasn't the most modern, and if I was to be quite honest it was rather eclectic in nature, but it was in a brilliant location, and totally enabled us to gather well. The beds were a perfect size, but many need mattress toppers as they are extremely hard, so I would request that the owners provide this for guests that don't like...

"Multiple issues including Beds 1 & 2 TVs not working, air conditioner in older section not working, fridge & freezer full of someone else's food, kitchen tap very loose, pantry full and no working light, prescription medication in bed 1 side table, built-ins full of clothes. Felt like someone was living there. Definitely overpriced"

"This magical place was exactly what I imagined. I booked in for two nights to create my art surrounded by all sorts of wildlife. Birds chirping, a visit from Skippy and family and Greg the host was very helpful making the stay perfect. I will definitely come back again for another magical experience. "
