"We enjoyed staying there and it was ideally located to give a break on our journey. It was comfortable and clean in the room and the pub. We were made very welcome and the practical arrangements for room access very easy, though access is via stairs. The food in both evening and morning was delicious, as the local ale too. It was easy to get to this location and very near to tourist and leisure destinations in Derbyshire."

"The hotel is very tastefully decorated and modern the staff very helpful and friendly the food excellent and cost was very reasonable. "We had a great stay at this lovely bed and breakfast. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. A nice selection of tea and coffee. The bathroom was clean and functional with complimentary shower gel and shampoo. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic with a great choice of many items all freshly prepared and cooked. A special thanks to the proprietor who made our stay very enjoyable she is so friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again if in the area."
