"Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. Directions to villa were very scattered but finally arrived met by housekeeper and shown around the villa. It was old and in need of some updating but very comfortable for our party of 10. Beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely although it was still warm enough to swim in the sea. All in all a wonderful holiday."

"Beyond expectations, location, location, location of course with that front row seat view of Etna across the bay but the property itself was much larger than expected from the photos. "L'appartement est agréable, il est simple mais fonctionnel pour 4 personnes. Nous avons pu prendre tous nos repas sur la terrasse en ayant une vue splendide sur la mer. Le quartier est très calme et la place de parking est un plus pour la voiture de location. Son emplacement est idéal pour les visites et la proximité de commerces et restaurants. La communication a été facile avec Giuseppe et pierluigi malgré le fait de ne pas parler italien. En bref: Un très bon choix."

"Giovanni was a wonderful host! The home was very spacious and filled with fascinating antiques. It is about a 20 minute walk to the historic center and about 10 minutes from the bus station. We chose the bus, but walking to the apartment was a bit challenging so when we left, we chose a taxi to the train station. This neighborhood in Cantania is very safe, but undergoing a lot of renovation. This includes the building of this apartment too. There are 4 flights of steps to climb when entering...
