"I had several firsts for India at this hotel -First time being asked pay additional fees for using my card to pay. The hotel called it an international card fee. -First time showering with cold water. -First time ant infestation. I noticed the ants in the room but didn't realize how many got into my luggage. They raised eyebrows at at Kochi airport when I had to open my bag for inspection at security. -First time having to walk through hotel corridors in pitch black to get to my room....

"The hotel is beautiful and nicely located within walking disrance of Cochin International. Staff and service was great as well. Artwork throughout the hotel makes it unique and very Kerala-esque. Rooms were spacious. However, one drawback, which turned us off were the stained couch covers and carpet in the rooms. We were only one night, so we didn't make mention of it.
