The grounds slope down to the lake which is a couple of minutes walk and has a small boat dock. If you hire a boat you have a key for the boat padlock, battery and tiller. "Tolles Haus, toller See, tolle Lage, tolle Natur, Elchsichtung direkt am Haus. Alleinlage am See, abseits der Landstraße am Rand eines kleinen idyllischen Ortes. Leider kein Mückenschutz an den Fenstern und durch Schilf am Ufer Verletzungsgefahr der Füße. Kleiner Steg wäre toll. Dennoch traumhaftes Feriendomizil."

"Ein Haus in wunderschöner Lage mit Weitblick über die Wälder von Värmland. Leider Eineige Mankos, die so nicht zu erwarten waren: Blockhütte zum Übernachten war schlimmer als ein Abstellraum, Boot war nicht zu benutzen- da viel zu schwer und unhandlich,Landstrasse nur 250 m entfernt und gut zu vernehmen. Aber es waren reichlich Pfifferlinge zu sammeln und die Natur und das gute Wetter haben für viele entschädigt...."

Great for relaxing in quiet location

"The property is down a short track with two other properties. These are well spaced out and grounds cleverly divided with trees and bushes to form private areas. The grounds slope down to the lake which is a couple of minutes walk and has a small boat dock. If you hire a boat you have a key for the boat padlock, battery and tiller. There are lots of trees and the road is not at all busy so it is very quiet and relaxing. Grasmark a couple of miles north has a small supermarket and single petrol pump, Sunne is about 20 mins SE with a big supermarket, shop to buy alcohol and a great fishing shop. Down by the lake is a seating area, trampoline (which our kids loved) and play park items. The house has bbq, games, frisbees, badminton net & rackets, two bikes and a couple of fishing rods (all of this in mixed condition). As the property is off a long road we found you were either in the grounds or driving elsewhere to do things (brilliant beach at top end of lake). The house is really well equipped and the instructions for the house are clear, do read them early on! It is clean and well maintained but like all VRBO properties cumulative annual wear means some limited mould around showers, marks on walls and little bits of damage here and there. One key point is you need to bring your own sheets and towels, or arrange in advance for this service which I think costs €20 pp. We missed this but were saved by Christiane, thank you. "
