"My friend and I had a very nice time during our stay at Endheri Sunset guest house. The staff were friendly and charming. The island was mostly very beautiful. The food plan we had while fairly basic, was mostly filling, tasty, and good. The diving was generally very good, and our guide Eaman was very professional. The snorkelling was good too although some of the surrounding reef was a bit sparse or dead in parts, I still spotted octopus, rays, small reef sharks etc. Just one word of caution,...

"This was our trip to the Maldives and our first time at Lily's. Traveling during the low season helped us avoid the crowds and high prices. "Lovely staff, stunning accommodation, good food, great excursions. We went on snorkelling trips to look for Whale Sharks, turtles and Manta Rays and saw them all super close to us. At first I was a little apprehensive because it is not a fancy schmancy resort like those that exist on other islands, but I settled in quickly and was very pleased by the accommodations, the staff, and of course, the beach! "We loved the property, we loved how friendly, helpful and nice the staff was. They took care of our villa like it was their own home and you never see this anywhere. What I didn't like was that they need to set up long chairs for the family villas, we requested and they set it up for us but we didn't realize we could request it until the last two days."

"Staff went over and beyond to make sure everything was good but to a point where it felt overboard. Room doors didn't shut properly and a lot of bugs were in the room, continually killing large ants that crawled on everything including in bed. "

Pleasant Stay

"Overall was very good particularly the customer service was extremely good. Hotel management team was very present & approachable. However we were all expecting air conditioning throughout in the water villa especially it’s an enclosed bathroom. There was no AC nor fan in the bathroom and was recommended not to open the door in between the bedroom & bathroom which caused condensation. We tried but the heat/humidity made it hard to do whatever for a minute or 2 without sweating. This was very disappointing for 4.5* resort. Food was ok, plenty to choose from and will not go hungry. We were AI and drinks were included which were very good. The Chefs even provided us with custom made fish dishes which were very delicious. My friends did the fishing excursion but the Maldivian style was not for anyone but there weren’t any fishing rods as another option. We didn’t do any of the free excursions as weather wasn’t on our side. We stayed on the water villa and there were many fishes around for snorkeling but be aware that the bottom of the water was very rocky so water shoes are the must. Chanaka, the Guest Experience Manager was very helpful and made sure all guests enjoying their time on the island & leaving there with a big smile. It was a pleasant stay with few minor hiccups. Thank you for taking care of us. "

"Booked with South Ari Dive, who were a fantastic dive centre with everything needed for a perfect diving holiday. Great friendly service, superb value and local dive site knowledge. They took us snorkelling with Mantas during our surface intervals which was a once-in-a-lifetime experience The accommodation is in a local guest house (not at the dive centre but 2 mins walk away). We stayed at Manta which was basic but pleasant and comfortable. Recommend B&B basis as the restaurants on Dhangethi are cheap and convenient. Service was okay though English could have been better and would have appreciated our towels to be changed for clean ones a couple of times during a 9 day stay."
