This is our go to lodging on our annual trek to western Colorado. You could not ask for a better place to relax and take in this gorgeous antique home and it’s matching decor. The hosts are the best! The home cooked breakfasts are amazing!

Sofia and her husband are the sweetest, most accommodating people! The hotel was beautiful and well kept, and obviously well loved. She cooked the most spectacular breakfast, and even gifted my husband and I our very first wedding gift after I shared with her we were there to elope:) You just cant find this kind of service anymore! Highly recommend, and we will be staying here again every time we come through! Cant say enough great things about this place, and them:)

The 3-story home is clean and well-maintained. The food is excellent. We had the best shower system—strong and powerful. The only regret is we couldn’t get into the parlor area until this morning. Thus, we had to stay in our room from like 5 pm to 8 am. That wasn’t great. The staff was just okay with hospitality. No one was there to greet us. No one spoke to me at breakfast as I got coffee, sat, waited. They served excellent food but never returned to check on our needs. Hospitality could be better.

A beautiful restored historic home ❤️
It was comical, upon arrival, they had upgraded us to a larger accommodation ON THE THIRD FLOOR 😂 We’re in our upper 70’s…..a bit of a climb for these old folks! But the hosts were the best people, and the food was terrific. We felt like we made new friends instead of just stayed an overnight. Loved hearing about their history and future.

The property was charming, built in 1894 and beautifully appointed. The proprietors were extremely responsive, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and homemade. Our room had a private bath; other rooms shared a common bathroom. The surrounding neighborhood was quiet and walkable to restaurants. We would highly recommend Hearts Desire B & B.

Amazing place ran by some of the friendliest people I have met. Very accommodating. The breakfast was amazing. I ate broccoli for the first time! My girlfriend and I will most definitely be back.

The room was just as advertised - clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was excellent- served on beautiful china with fresh juice and coffee (with half & half). There were even snacks available in the foyer. The owners were also very helpful with information of where to dine in Raton and took the time to visit with us. A very delightful place to stay!

Lovely, elegant, and so restful BnB! We took the Amtrak train from Las Vegas NM to Raton NM for a romantic getaway and we were overjoyed to find Hearts Desire BnB a mere 5 min walk from the train depot. Beautiful Victorian home and yummy breakfast with period china. Gorgeous antiques in every room and your hosts Sophia and Joshua are top notch and so accommodating and kind. PS awesome hot water and shared bath has huge Victorian tub.
