"This was our first ‘extended’ family trip. Eight of us in total, 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 2, 6, 9, 15). The house and outside area was fantastic and fit for purpose. There was plenty of room so we didn’t feel on top of each other. Fantastically stocked kitchen, has every utensil and pot you’d need. Enough beds/bedrooms and bathrooms. "Great accommodations. Near good restaurants, within driving distance from Tongariro (our reason for visiting this area), clean, comfortable beds. Only drawback is that there's only one bathroom for two couples. However, the toilet is in its own room - separate from the shower, but with a sink for hand-washing in each room. That made this facility workable for us. Highly recommend."
