Everything about the hotel was amazing, the staff, the room, the food, all great. The hotel grouods are very clean and its a very interesting concept (Erlebnishof is an adventure farm hotel typical of Germany). Family friendly atmosphere with lots of activities for families and a great place for solo travellers.

Leider war es furchtbar laut. Tagsüber Kinder, Abends die Eltern auf dem Balkon. Wir waren hier um nach der Alpenüberquerung etwas Ruhe zu haben. Das war definitiv der falsche Ort. Alles kostet extra. Die Fußbodenheizung stand auf 6 als wir ins Zimmer kamen. Draußen waren es 25 Grad. Die Zimmer waren schön und das Buffet lecker. Zum erholen dennoch nichts. Für Kinder sicherlich schön.

Once you figure out where the reception and your room are, it's a lovely setting. On a cherry farm, with a few cows very close. As it's family oriented, lots of kids related noise as can be expected. My studio was big, clean and well furnished, though lacking in storage space for your clothes.

We had a really good time here. The room was spacious, the food in the onsite restaurant was very good. Very good facilities for families with kids and its close to Ravensburger Spieland. Only two areas that we were not happy with: breakfast: not a wide range of choices and every piece is given to you like you are in school, the price of the breakfast is not value for money. The other reason why we do not give an excellent rating is the wifi. We had to complain twice. You have a bit of signal in one side of the room but not in the other. But overall its a very good hotel for families with young children.

On arrival the hotel looked lovely, a real family friendly vibe in a beautiful location surrounded by picturesque countryside. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The problem was that the hotel had a private function on whilst we were staying- which reception never mentioned or warned us about- and this ruined the stay for us as loud music and drunken guests kept us up all night. The music lasted until around 3am which in my opinion is really unfair for other paying guests with young children. The breakfast and kids facilities were great but the lack of respect for guests really left me unimpressed. They sell them selves as a family rural retreat but honestly we would have slept better staying in a city centre. When my husband complained about the noise they simply shrugged it off and said no one else minded which I found really dismissive. I therefore would not recommend this hotel to friends with young children as I would hate them to have the same experience.

Great place to bring kids to...

Place is great for family, we chose a family loft, loggia, the kids had so much fun climbing into the loft it's an attraction by itself, not suitable for seniors though 😊, they can stay in the room, not in loft.

Beware

Not really useful as a one night stopover...it is isolated and difficult to find....And is essentially a family holiday destination. Our first night was fine but we were moved for our second night to room 38. This must be avoided unless you are a midget or extraordinarily supple.The living area is fine but the beds are on a mezzanine level reached by a narrow and steep ladder of the kind found on ships.It is almost impossible to reach the sleeping area without cracking your head or shoulders and once there you have to stay bent as the roof slopes and the beam above you is no more than five feet from the floor. As for descending in the middle of the night for a loo visit - make sure you have comprehensive travel insurance! The beds are effectively futons so unless you are athletic you may have trouble getting down to mattress level and even more when getting up....And don't forget the beam above!

Nice place to stay.

We loved staying here. The bathroom does not have a door but it is pretty modern. It wasn't a problem for us as we have a little daughter but it could be uncomfortable if you are traveling with friends. The Rest. was great as well. Recommended !

Awesome for families

The place is amazing for families, heaps to do. We were very grateful for our up grade although as there was only the two of us perhaps it wasn't necessary, thanks all the same. The food was really good and the hostess was very accommodating.

Family retreat surprises

AMAZING - IMPRESSIVE - overall, I was very pleased with this location. it is advertised as a working farm but in Americain standards it would be better classified as a farm retreat. Absolutely great location. rooms, large - spacious - clean.. the front reception lady was awesome - spoke many languages, very helpful and polite. so professional. they also had laundry self-service available - great for a family travelling for weeks to do laundry. very popular with local residents and I see why - awesome.

Mijn verwachting was anders dan de realiteit. Het was een dichtgebouwd terrein met klein zwembad, heel veel appartementen. De kamer was erg donker, de deur naar het terras functioneerde slecht (draai-kiep was versleten). En als we de deur open lieten kwam de sigarettenlucht van de buren naar binnen. De dineropties waren erg onduidelijk en moesten 'online' besteld worden. Dus geen kaart. Bij ontbijt konden tafels gereserveerd worden, dus had je de situatie dat er redelijk wat lege tafels waren en je moest hopen dat je een tafel voor het ontbijt kon vinden. Uiteindelijke hebben we voor avondeten in de buurt gegeten en niet zoveel gedaan op het 'park', eigenlijk alleen ontbeten. Het zag er wel allemaal heel netjes uit, en als je verwachting is dat je op een soort compact en druk vakantiepark zit i.p.v. op een gemoedelijke kindvriendelijke avonturenboerderij dan is het een goede bestemming. Voor ons echter niet weer.

Leider waren wir von unserem Aufenthalt im Erlebnishof Hügle sehr enttäuscht. Die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig und mehrere Dinge im Zimmer waren defekt, darunter der Fernseher und die Duschkabine. Auch wurden einige der beworbenen Ausstattungen, wie ein Balkon und eine Regendusche, nicht vorgefunden. Besonders ärgerlich war, dass es im Zimmer sehr heiß war und das Fehlen eines Fliegengitters das Schlafen fast unmöglich machte. Unser Zimmer lag direkt über der Küche, wodurch wir ständig von unangenehmen Essensgerüchen belästigt wurden. Das Badezimmer war direkt gegenüber vom Bett platziert, was eine sehr unangenehme und unpraktische Anordnung darstellt. Zudem war der Zugang zum Zimmer nur durch die Spielscheune möglich, mit einer Tür, die so stark am Teppich streifte, dass meine 8-jährige Tochter sie kaum öffnen konnte. Der gesamte Aufenthalt erinnerte eher an eine Jugendherberge, es wirkte alles sehr unorganisiert. Zusatzleistungen wie das Essen und Frühstück fanden wir überteuert, und es war enttäuschend zu erfahren, dass normalerweise noch eine Gebühr für die Nutzung des Pools erhoben wird. Dieser Urlaub war unser allererster und wir hatten uns sehr darauf gefreut, wurden aber letztendlich furchtbar enttäuscht. Leider können wir den Erlebnishof Hügle nicht weiterempfehlen und werden definitiv nicht wiederkommen. Dette er ikke et hotel men en bondegård

Hvis du kan lide lugten af gødning, larmen fra tunge maskiner, motorsav, vinkelsliber ganeret med skrigende børn fra tidlig morgen. Så er det her sted lige noget for dig. Når så børnene er lagt i seng kan du nyde lyden af tyske schlaggere fra det som jeg må gå ud fra er ejeren af stedet. Lejligheden var så varm at det var helt udholdeligt og muligheden for at lufte ud var ikke tilstede da vi havde fået lejlighed ud til legepladsen og ejerens hus. Terassen var så skæv at det var svært at sidde lige på en stol derude. Vi var fire personer, men der var kun to stole i lejligheden. Dette sted er slidt og gennemgående forfærdeligt. Vi havde booket 4 nættet men forlod stedet efter 1 overnatning med det økonomiske tab det indebar. Husk at betinge jer af i kan få pengene tilbage, hvis dette sted ikke lever op til jeres forventninger. Det var helt igennem en forfærdelig oplevelse.

Mooie locatie in mooie omgeving. Appartement was schoon en mooi opgeknapt. Zeer mooie badkamer en een fijn bed. Een complex wat erg goed met het milieu en de omgeving omgaat. Tijdens ons verblijf waren er bouwwerkzaamheden (wat ons bekend was) wat er al erg goed uitzag. Een mooi speeltoestel en een nieuw restaurant. Tevens een mooie parkeergarage en een leuk winkeltje met streekproducten. Het is wel belangrijk om de bestaande zaken ook aandacht te blijven geven of te verbeteren. In het appartement ontbraken wat praktische zaken (snijmes, snijplank, vergiet, ovenschaal, wasrek/waslijn). Het complex heeft maar 1 wasmachine welke stuk was. Bij het zwembad zijn er veel te weinig stoelen (maar 4 ligstoelen) en geen parasols. Er is een mooi terras met ijzeren stoelen. Wellicht hier een kussentje in waardoor het comfortabeler zit. In de appartement is er een klimaatbeheersing wat top is maar op hete dagen wordt het wel erg warm binnen, misschien een ventilator? De behulpzaamheid van het personeel kan beter. Komt afspraken niet na. Ook werd mijn vraag rondom voedselallergie gevoelsmatig niet serieus genomen en ben ik voor de zekerheid het zelf gaan navragen aan een kok. Bleek er wel notenolie in de rauwkost te zitten.
