"Property appears to be a little out of the way and far from town, but it is a walkable distance, there’s taxi trucks and motorbikes for rent at reasonable prices. So it really isn’t that far at all. It’s only a few minutes by scooter of taxi truck, maybe 20 minutes if walking, but can scroll up the beaches and over a few outcroppings of rocks and can get nearly anywhere on the island. "Samed Pavilion is a convenient base for this area of the island. Whilst not the most luxurious stay in the area, it is clean, pleasant and the staff are friendly and efficient. Strongly recommend for those who prefer to enjoy beach life rather than spend all their time on holiday in a hotel. "

"What a view! We chose a seaside cottage and it was just steps from the water. Good breakfast. Good restaurant. Easy walking to about 20 others? Lots of sun or shade options for laying out. Nice size rooms. We like beds softer and that was the only reason to downgrade the comfort level from excellent. Pillows good. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will book here again. "

"Lima Bella was a pleasant stay. The staff are very kind, pleasant and helpful. Location is a good 5 minute walk from the beach. Close to places to eat, laundry, scooter rentals and such, however still quite quiet. They do tend to get your groups, so things get loud, busy and you genuinely feel bad for the staff as they are not the most mannerly of people! Breakfasts are a 6/10. You have choice, but not a wide variety. As it was included, it was fine. Overall a pleasant 7 night stay."

"High end resort in Koh Samet, at Saikaew Beach. Comfortable room (premier), very good staff, nice pool, fantastic beach. Breakfast was good, but for the roomrates incl. breakfast, it could be better. High end resort, but also high priceses on food and drinks."
