Outstanding one of a kind Hotel Boutique everything in it is ancient from the 1700s the staff is amazing the service is excellent my room was excellent in every way with a shower water pressure was really good which is rare in Mexico the bed comfortable I can't say enough about this place this should be a five-star hotel

We really enjoyed a couple of nights here, Mrs. Petra was very kind and share with us some of the magical heritage on this beautiful old town. Food was great, service was excellent by all the employees, the hotel itself is a genuine gem, made completely on rocks and fulfilled with historical events. This is a must when visiting R14.

I have lived near here all my life and this was my first time staying overnight. What a beautiful hotel, great service, and one of the best restaurants I have ever been in. They have a dessert called La Abuelita is a must. This will be where I will be staying every visit because they left a memorable impression.

Classic old atmospheric inn with thick stone walls and exposed wood beams. Right near town square with church bells to wake you for breakfast. Beautiful details, great restaurant and bar, and I slept well. Service was excellent.

Don’t stay in the winter

Don’t stay during winter. They don’t provide heaters and it’s freezing. The only other option is to pay 50% more for room with a fireplace and even that isn’t sufficient to make you comfortable

Hermosa propiedad, bien arreglada y mantenida, en el centro del pueblo. Personal amable y atento. Pero cuando me abrieron mi habitación pensé que habíamos entrado en el closet: no; ese mínimo espacio era todo el cuarto. Sin closet, por supuesto; ni un gancho dónde colgar un pañuelo. Renta por noche: el equivalente a más de US$97 dólares. Todo en el hotel es caro. Por otro lado, Real de Catorce ya no es lo que era. Está lleno de construcciones mal hechas y desangeladas que han echado a perder el ambiente encantador de pueblo fantasma que un día tuvo. Los pocos edificios que quedan de su pasado minero están escoltados por puestos callejeros que no dejan apreciar la arquitectura. Se encuentra rodeado además de favelas que afean el entorno montañoso que le daba belleza y carácter. Villa hoy mercantilizada para y por el turista. No valen la pena el viaje ni el hotel ni el pueblo.

Bad experience

El hotel está bonito, sin embargo la nueva zona habilitada para habitaciones, tiene inconvenientes importantes: la habitación tiene doble puerta, la primera no se puede cerrar con seguro y la segunda es de vidrio; otros huéspedes se equivocaron de habitación e intentaron entrar; se pierde totalmente la privacidad y ya no pudimos descansar por lo mísmo. En el restaurante tardaron casi una hora en preparar un desayuno sencillo y preferimos cancelar
