Positioned beside the Rhine the Hotel affords a panoramic view of the surrounding area, nice food and helpful staff make the Hotel well worth visiting, combined with the lovely town it's a must for travellers.

Great breakfast and very friendly staff. The lady at the front desk made arrangements to make sure we got something to eat and special thanks to the chef who prepared a very tasty meal even though we arrived after hours due to travel delays. We only stayed one night, which was a shame. The hotel is on the river and I would have liked to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere for a couple more days. Highly recommend it.

Poor standards
Would not stay here again or recommend to colleagues. Asked for 3 days to 3 different staff for a fan and no-one bothered to get back to me. Luxury room booked but no luxuries. Luxury bed linin advertised but cheap low standard. Room not cleaned, asked after 2 days and they stated it was to save the enviroment, i didnt know making beds and emptying bins was saving the planet. Like many hotels, this one used covid to reduce number of cleaning staff any not clean rooms. Sign on check-in desk was in herman and then turned it round to display english version. Perhap tgey should mention this at check-i n. Check out the receptionist selected payment in Euros without giving me the option and the arogantly stated "we're in Germany" you pay in Euro. Restaurant closed for two days. Other than that nothing else was perfect.

Das Personal war stehts hilfbereit und nett. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist ein Erlebnis für sich. Hier bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Schade fand ich, das dass Restaurant während unserer Zeit geschlossen hatte. Alternative Möglichkeiten gab es über die Feiertage in Rees leider nicht. Wenn ja, dann waren schnell alle Plätze besetzt. Wenig Tourist Informationen durch die Stadt Rees. Leider hat das Wetter nicht mitgespielt. Die Nachtwächterführung am Montag Abend war einsame Spitze und lohnenswert.

Leider war ich nicht so zufrieden mit dem Personal und dem Essen. Sehr teuer für absolut schlechte Qualität. Dann kamen noch zwei Personen zu unserer Tischreservierung dazu u es war der Dame nicht möglich noch einen Tisch dazuzustellen, obwohl das gesamte Lokal leer war.
