"The hotel is well located and the staff is friendly. Some parts of the hotel need some TLC, but the room we stayed in had an updated and clean bathroom and the room was a good size. The bed was a little too soft for me, but not so bad to make me not want to stay again when we go back to Regensburg. Breakfast was good and typical for European mid-range cost hotels. The hotel feels like you have stepped back in time and are staying at a royal's palace. "

It is sometimes very slow or intermittent, and in some rooms further away from the center there is no reach, for example room 145. "The hotel was great and the room was exceptional. We wound up with the Presidential Suite. The room was nice sized, but it included an entire board room with huge table and executive seating for 15 or so people. It was incredible but of no use to us. But fun. The room was well insulated, weather and noise, and we had a perfect view of the Dom (Cathedral). The big 'but' was the failure of the elevator. We were on the second or third floor (there were sort of half floors which made counting...

"This is an excellent hotel in a great location for a cyclist. I could ride on the Donau directly from the hotel and relax with a nice drink after a ride in the outdoor seating area. Breakfast was also very good."

"Everything was ready tidy and the rooms are perfectly clean. I had trouble sleeping because it was warm in my room and there was no fan. Also, people were smoking and talking on phones right outside my window. A small fan in the room would have covered the sound and kept the smoke out. The employees were great and very helpful. "
