"The room was large and comfortable. However, after a long day of hiking we returned at 4 PM to discover that our room had not been cleaned. For a Westerner, I found the food at both breakfast and dinner to be very unappealing. Although we had paid for half board, we skipped dinner the second night. Instead we drive 15 minutes to a cafe with good salads and croissants. "

"I’m glad I listened to most of the reviews for this place. We came for the sheep farm, but in the end this manor made the stay worth the scary drive from Hualien. From the beginning, they made us feel like special guests. The valet driver understood my hesitation to park my rental car in these small tight spaces and asked if he can take over and then he parked the car with so much ease. Then we were directed to the lobby where our hostess explained to us about our stay while another hostess...
