It was a bit shabby but very comfortable. A hole in the bathroom plaster and wallpaper should have been rectified.I thought breakfast could have been included in the price but the bar prices were very good. An enjoyable stay.

As many other reviews have expressed, the hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment, but the staff are excellent in there approach in all aspects.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. The room we were booked into in the Stables was very dark so we asked to change rooms. I was allowed to view the next room which looked like a palace compared to the Stable room but on closer inspection realised it was very dated and needs a major update
