The upstairs floor which is a huge family room is really unsafe with no barrier around the stairs so children can run straight off the floor onto the bottom floor this was even unsafe for us as if your slightly tired walking straight off the second floor was too easy as there was nothing to stop you. "Lovely house in picturesque village. Every bedroom has en-suite so perfect for groups or large families. Nice size garden with bbq. The large town of Compiegne is only 25 min drive away with a train direct into Paris. Pierredonds is only 10 min drive with castle, lakes and the best value for money crazy golf game I’ve ever played. Loved staying here."

I had trouble contacting a taxi for pickup and the owners were so kind to call one for me and make sure I got where I needed to go. The property is lovely and has everything needed for a pleasant stay. Turning the locks on the front door are a bit tricky, but I had no other issues. "We had 5 of us staying here for 10 nights. The property itself is a great size, so much room with all the amenities we needed. The garden was private and a great size for large groups. We couldn’t have wanted for better accommodation. It was an idea location for us driving between Reims and Paris for all the things we had organised. "

"The rooms were clean and spacious; The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. What really makes this hotel stand out however is the extraordinarily kind and professional staff. And their breakfast was one of my two favorite breakfasts during my two week journey in Europe. Generous, with high quality ingredients. Fresh squeezed juices, delicious cheeses etc.etc. I could elaborate more, but the foods were presented and procured with a sense of excellence and care for the guest. Lovely staff. Loved this stay.
