"Beautiful, cozy, perfect little cottage for our family of 5. With a spectacular view of the river and mountains from every room, we enjoyed the hot tub late into the night. Perfectly clean, warm and comfortable beds. A hidden gem!! "

Overall, much greater than I expected, and I already was excited for the stay. the restaurant overlooking the waterfalls and river, the troll garden stroll, the hot tubs. All superb. It is in a remote area and provided us an excellent view of the northern lights, which we watched from the hot tub. Ideal experience, I recommend giving it a shot. "

"Great place, far away from everything, so buy from a store what you want because no grocery store in radius of 50-60 km. Because it is distant from lights we managed to see the Northern lights for the first time there :)"

"We were very comfortable in this beautiful home outside of Borgarnes. Away from the city lights, we were able to relax and enjoy the northern lights from the comfort of the hot tub! The home is in a great location for exploring the Snaefellsnes Peninsula and is well appointed with everything we needed! The hosts are very responsive and communicated promptly when I had a question. Would come back and stay in this lovely home!"

"We really loved the peaceful setting of the cabin. It felt so spacious for our group of two! The views were wonderful especially the glacier in the distance. It is definitely quite a ride into town so we were glad to have brought food to cook there. It was a great spot to access the Snaefellsnes peninsula which we did in one day. We would have loved to stay longer!"

"This has to be one of the most unique stays in Iceland. If you’re considering booking it, you absolutely should. The view is incredible - you can see Icelandic horses, a mountain, and hot springs all from the top floor. The owner is very kind and accommodating, even offered to show us around the stables. The tower itself is definitely luxury and you will be comfortable during your stay here (heated floors included!). It’s close to Krauma hot springs and the drive to Thingvellir is quick and easy. We will definitely be back! "
