Beautiful Property
The silo was absolutely stunning. It is such a unique property and has been transformed into an oasis of relaxation! It was meticulously cleaned, cozy, full kitchen, large bathroom, comfortable bed. The amenities go on and on. We will definitely stay here again! Hermann was o ly 12 minutes away too, so that was a definite bonus.

Cozy silo!
We had a great time, was super clean, cozy and decorated super cute! The little snacks, bottles of water, coffee plus the coffee creamer was a great touch too! Wish it wasn't raining because we would have really enjoyed the firepit and the fresh wood that was there. I recommend this place for anyone!

Perfect Getaway
Melissa and her husband Brian are incredibly nice people. Melissa was there to check us in, tell us about the property, give us restaurant recommendations for Hermann, and overall advice for our stay. Because of her guidance we had really really really great meals and thoroughly enjoyed hanging out in Hermann, Mo. The Silo was perfect. It is obvious they put a lot of work into it. Everything you need is in that one location…full kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, jacuzzi tub, huge television, and a couch right in front to watch movies. The Katy Trail is at the end of the driveway and if you take a right (west) there are bluffs all the way along your walk that are absolutely beautiful (my wife made me walk 3 miles…ugh). If you are considering the property, it is a no brainer. The hosts are perfect. The town is conveniently ten minutes away. The property is unique, clean, and you’ll never forget it (because honestly…how many times have you slept in a grain silo). And…if you want to go feed the catfish on the property, Melissa will give you a bag to feed them. We did it. It was fun. I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the grain bin. So much so that we decided to book another night. The host was so accommodating and gave us advice on where to eat and where to go. The grain bin was immaculately clean and beyond our expectations. We would most certainly come back again.

Perfect romantic getaway
This silo was the perfect location for a romantic getaway in Hermann. We were there for the chocolate trail and didn’t want to stay directly in town, as that can be a little too chaotic. The silo was only about 10 min away and it was great! The bed is extremely comfortable. The towels were soft and dense and I’m looking for replace every towel in my home with these now. The love seat in front of the tv was a perfect chill spot to drink wine, watch and movie and relax with your significant other. Also, the hosts were beyond accommodating and very communicative with anything we needed, which wasn’t much bc we’re pretty self sufficient, but it’s good to know they’re right there just in case. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this location!

Wonderful, unique getaway!
My husband and I were looking for a unique place to get away for our anniversary that was not to close to town. The Silo was amazing. Very nicely decorated and very cozy. We loved how close it was to the Katy Trail. We took a 4 mile walk one morning. We loved night it rained on the tin roof. The whole weekend was wonderful mostly in part to our accommodations. Melissa was wonderful. We will be back and tell our friends!
