The upstairs floor which is a huge family room is really unsafe with no barrier around the stairs so children can run straight off the floor onto the bottom floor this was even unsafe for us as if your slightly tired walking straight off the second floor was too easy as there was nothing to stop you. The large town of Compiegne is only 25 min drive away with a train direct into Paris. "The whole experience was just great! The service was amazing! We arrived quite early (around 12) because we came directly after our flight to the hotel. The staff however was super friendly and didn’t make any problem as our room was already ready! The room was bigger than expected, the coffee was good and there were even complementary drinks in the minibar, something you don’t see often nowadays but makes you feel so much more welcome. A huge compliment for the staff! We will definitely come back and recommend the hotel! Thank you "

"We booked this for our last night of vacation because it looked beautiful in the pictures online. It did not disappoint in person. The staff were so helpful and welcoming at the front desk. They even showed us to our room and asked if it didn’t meet our expectations, we could look at another room. The room was a suite with a lovely sitting room and gorgeous view of the lake. We walked the lake and the staff made us reservations for dinner in the restaurant on site. The food was a culinary delight. The staff in the restaurant were attentive and thoughtful. We will certainly stay here again."
