"Everyone enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere of Fletcher Hall with so much to do. The pool and games room were well used, especially by the children. It was warm and well equipped. The host recognised the occasions we were celebrating & left a few nice surprises. It is close to Lytham & St. Anne’s, which are lovely places to visit. We only had one issue which we discussed with the host, and will hopefully be addressed."

"This is a gorgeous property in a lovely setting immaculately kept by Siane the owner ! Had everything we needed plus more extras ! Would highly recommend. Near lovely villages and nice eateries and the property overlooks a fishing lake and rolling hills !"

"Contacted property manager and Vrbo the day before to enquire about accessing the property. Received no response. Called the owner at 9.15 on the day. He sounded confused but raised no issue, so I got on with my day. Received a text after 10.30 to say the property was not available! Apparently vrbo had not coordinated the availability. Host offered to book us into a local hotel…. Not ideal as we could have done that ourselves (and chosen a better hotel) but we had plans with friends and dinner...

"A lovely cottage in a great location. The village has a great community run pub and shop and has real character. The villagers are friendly and helpful - even in the most trying times! We had a disaster on check out day when there was a huge snowstorm overnight and our car got stuck on the way out of the village. The owner welcomed us back to the cottage and made sure our family were safe and warm until the snow subsided and the roads were clear. An excellent host indeed! The village shop...

"What a special place! It is a rural setting, some distance from town, so a car is recommended. To see the ocean out the window and on walks, along with cows, horses and chickens was such fun! The hosts are delightful and eager to help with anything we might have needed. We will definitely stay here again!"

"Fantastic stay with Barry, Barry was very helpful, friendly, accommodating and showed us everything we needed. The annexe was exceptionally clean, bed was very comfortable, also a great range of breakfast options which we were not expected so a lovely bonus to the stay. The property is not far from the train station and is in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. "If your looking for peaceful off the beaten track lodgings ,then this is the place for you. My wife and I have really enjoyed our stay here.The bungalow is well equiped with everything you need. The surrounding area is good for bird watchers with hedgerows,open fields and skies. Not too far (15 mins) is Barnaby sands marsh where we enjoyed long walks as far as Knott end and beyond. Gareth our host was very freindly and nothing was too much trouble. "

"Room was super clean and spacious. Ned comfortable. Only negative was that the lights on the heaters glow so brightly that room wasnt dark and that kept waking me up. Seating area near bar is tired and could do with upholstering and the floor was littered and untidy, however the rest of the hotel was clean and tidy. We have stayed here several times and give it a thumbs up, its not 5 star but it isstill a lovely hotel and very good value for money."
