This is a very old property with rooms just off a lovely garden. Staff were very amiable. Perfect location from which to explore Ribe.

Great location, very friendly welcome. The room was on the slant but then again it is 100’s of years old. Shared toilet but not a problem. Nice little bar fridge upstairs where you can help yourself and pay later. Great breakfast, it will keep you fed till the evening.

Characteristic old hotel in the very old town of Ribe. It felt like we went back in time. The shared bathroom for 3 rooms worked fine. Loved the slanted floors. Owner is friendly and fun. The breakfast was good and filling. We loved the whole experience. Free car parking outside the old town was great.

Very nice little place. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Lovely courtyard. Comfortable bed but small. Right on the walking street. Close to shopping and restaurants. Ribe is a very hyggelig little town.

Liked the charm and character, especially the courtyard where you could sit and enjoy coffee in the morning or beer in the afternoon. The room was quaint but needed a few additional items such as a small table beside the bed and something in the bathroom to put toiletries on.

Very nice staff, spacious room, excellent location!!! Unfortunately, the foundation mattress in our room was not properly supported underneath and we both woke up in the center of the bed with terribly sore backs. A properly supported, good mattress, should be a minimum requirement for a hotel.

Everyone was so friendly & helpful, and they spoke English. Jens helped us old people get the luggage up the stairs & gave helpful tips & directions. The hotel itself was old and quaint, just as it should be for the oldest town in Denmark. Step outside the hotel door, and we were on the village’s main pedestrian walkway. The whole experience was a wonderful step back in time for us.

The place was very cute and cozy, the owner gave us a great tip for a tour and some tips about where stuff was and when things were open. They rearranged the breakfast for us as we don’t eat meat. Would have been nice if that was an option we could have shared in advance and not been teased about. But in the end we had a really relaxed and restful stay and the building itself is really cool. Felt as if we had travelled back in time, except that there was a very clean bathroom ;) ( v.modern) Highly recommend!

The room was very basic but what can you expect from a house that was build in 1668,so for us it was ok.The personnel was very helpful and friendly and the house was located in the center of the village. our car was parked 300 m away(for free) so that was also no issue for us. Anyway it was a very nice experience to stay in this very cosy hotel from 1668

Hyggeligt sted at overnatte i Danmarks ældste købstad, altid god service, rene værelser, og ligger midt i Ribe centrum. Har været der flere gange, og kommer helt sikkert igen.

Venlig personale, fint værelse, men sengen var for blød efter min smag, dejligt med mulighed for at lave kaffe på værelset, meget glat træ terrasse, som vi skulle bruge på vej til værelset, virkelig lækker morgenmad, serveret ved bordet, med rigeligt ost/pålæg og grønt til. Langt til parkering.
