"Had a fabulous time, would have liked the pool to be heated as promised. The driveway is steep, so beware if you are not a confident driver. Would recommend as easy to move around the island from the villa. It was comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend. "

"Villa Cabouco was a great base for our extended family holiday. We had space for myself and my partner, our two little boys (0 + 3), my mother and sister as well as my parents in law. The kitchen was a great space for evening dining and the pool was lovely after a day out in the hills. Beware the approach road on first visit, however that's well flagged by Riccardo and Zohra on arrival. Would very happily return again!"

"The complex had everything we needed. Spacious and clean apartment with an amazing view over Funchal and the sea, with a nice size balcony and outdoors seating. The downside was the road in-between the accommodation and the facilities. It was quiet late at night although the traffic in the morning with all the tourist vehicles coming up the hill was rather noisy. We live in a village, so noticed it. "The property is hidden , it’s hard to find . No place to park to upload and load your luggage. You have to go for breakfast to the other property so we decide to go to other restaurants. Parking was hustle , I have to go daily to the front desk to pay each day individually . Will be smart if they do that . I been to several Pestana on the island , pestana fishermen village as well . They need some help with common sense regard design hotels . "

"We were so positively surprised! The place is great. Close to the city centre and easy to find free parking nearby :)) But the view... We spent so much time just looking at the sea from the top balcony 😍 Highly recommend:))!!"

"Love Madeira and the place is in a great location. Unfortunatley, after booking our non-refundable five-night stay we were charged an additional $140 for an "additional guest fee". Even though the Vrbo is listed for four guests, he charged us an addition $140 because we had three total guests and the base rate price is only for two guests. Good luck if you have any more than two guests because you will be charged almost double for your stay and will not be able to cancel after you booked it."

"What an awesome stay! The place is nestled in the mountains a few km above Sao Vicente. You’ll need wheels! It is a typical village surrounded by locals - not a tourist in site. The perfect getaway!
