"This is a beautiful and unique property. Overall we enjoyed our time with family (10 adults, 12 kids under age 11). The pool is not heated, so swimming in May was a bit chilly. The bathroom arrangement is unique with one room that has three toilet closets and a separate room just down the hall with three dorm style showers. The landscape is breathtaking with plenty of room to spread out, and we were able to spot several alligators nearby."

"We came here for the peace and quiet of country living and we were not disappointed. It was nice to hear the birds singing in the mornings, sit outside and relax on the deck, and go for a nice walk. The house is very nice and fit our needs. The host and hostess are very nice people. "Stayed for two nights with no issues. The kitchen is very well stocked with sauces and spices. The AC is undersized, but we were going through a heat wave, so it would catch up at night. Outside was nice, but there were many giant but harmless spiders, which is likely why there were no bugs or mosquitos. The morning visits from about 10 Longhorns was enjoyable."

The original floors in the kitchen and solid wood pocket doors in the dining area provided a glimpse into the home’s history. The original stairs gave us our daily workout with detailed woodwork.
