Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Heating was severely lacking on the second level of the property. Nowhere was there any thermostat control to adjust it. 🚩Privacy Concern: The doors especially that of the upstairs bathroom were missing locks, or any locking mechanism whatsoever. The windows did not have functional locking latches. 🚩While everyone is entitled to practice their own religious beliefs, it is politically incorrect, and disrespectful of any owner to demean a guest based on their differing spiritual religious experiences. An owner needs to understand that labeling different religious beliefs, and experiences that don't conform to that of their own as satanic was a line that was crossed, and that can be interpreted by more sensitive guests as inflammatory rhetoric, or speech. My guest, and I were floored by the statements of the owner, to the point that we no longer felt comfortably safe for the remainder of our brief stay.
🚩The Eggs served for the following morning's breakfast were runny, and raw. My partner was not equally catered to based on their food allergy restrictions, while I was served waffles, my partner could have been equally catered to, and accommodated with Gluten Free Waffles. The owner was notified in-person by my partner, and still her needs were not catered to. She even experienced some Gluten Reaction to kitchen-borne cross-contamination of the breakfast. In summation: I believe I'm eligible for a refund based on the experience that my partner, and I had.
