Room was comfortable and adequately cleaned. Check in was easy and friendly. Property is small and recently renovated, but bottom line this is a dressed up budget hotel, so keep your expectations in line. No coffee in the room (had a single cup maker but no coffee pods) and lobby and cafe coffee were gone by 9 am on the first day of our stay. There didn’t appear to be anyone maintaining or refilling in the food area- they were out of milk, eggs, and other key items. No one was at the front desk as well. There was a cafe attendant and weak coffee the second day of our stay, but mostly she was complaining to other staff about not having help. She also sat at a table watching the TV even though all tables in the small area were taken, so we had to take our plates back to our room. As long as you keep your expectations in line and remember that you get what you pay for, this hotel is adequate. I felt safe, the room was adequate, and the location is very convenient to the theme park across the street. And the 7-11 next door was very convenient since I couldn’t get coffee at the hotel. It even has on site laundry facilities (we didn’t use) which is a plus. The train tracks are VERY close but didn’t bother us. I think they are trying to be something that they’re not and can’t be with such limited staff, but we would probably stay there again at the price we got. However, I’ve stayed at the two hotels nearby and definitely found them to be preferable.

This is right across the street from Kings Dominion Amusement park. It’s right off the interstate. It’s quiet and clean everything worked well. The staff was professional and helpful. I thought it was great!

Our room had an adjoining room which had guests that were noisy. We really wanted to rest after driving for 5 hours and another 5 hours to go the next morning. I felt it was a total wash, we would’ve rested better in our car at a rest area.
