"Incredible views outside my widow. Breakfast was excellent-eggs, variety of meats and cheese, dried fruits, yogurt, waffle/bread. Location was about 20 minute walk ( hilly) to Interlaken ost. (Coop across station). Bus 102 stop is few yards from hotel ( brings you to Interlaken ost in 5-10 minutes). Friendly staff. Grocery next door has meat/cheese. Walkable to Lake Brienze ."

"My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this quiet, peaceful, historic hotel. We particularly liked the beautiful view of the mountains and the lake. Although it was too chilly for us to use it, their patio dining right next to the lake was gorgeous. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning with fresh, fried eggs and smoked salmon. Perfect Swiss hotel in Grindelwald

"Hotel Alpenhof if a beautiful, peaceful hotel in Grendelwald. We had a suite on the top floor with a balcony and a sweeping view of the mountains and green hillsides. The room was spacious and clean, with an handy minibar in case you want to have a beer on the nice deck, and tastefully decorated in Swiss style. The restaurant offered good Swiss food and a nice breakfast buffet. Staff were very nice. It’s right up the hill from the train station, so very convenient. They will pick you up if you don’t want to walk up the hill with your luggage upon arrival. We loved this place and highly recommend it."
