"We booked this after travelling for 6+ hours. The confirmation was sent to us and no one was there to check us in at 2am. You shouldn’t allow people to book your hotel rooms if you’re unable to check anyone in especially at that time. I did not recommend and would not consider this property."

The weak point of the stay was the badly kept access road to the property which is full of potholes, dumped rubbish and broken furniture. As it is the only access to the property it sets a bad impression before you arrive and every time you use it."

Scala dei Turchi) with sea-side restaurants, a supermarket, shopping centre or a short drive to the town of Porto Empedocle.The villa had everything we needed to relax after 2 longer days out to explore Agrigento Old town and valley of the temples, both around a 20 minute drive away. We tackled Mt. Etna (3 hr drive) on our way home as we flew from Catania airport (2hr drive).Our host was very accommodating. Nothing more we could ask. The weather typically warm and windy for this time of year and the villa a beautiful retreat."

The beach is a short walk away along with numerous other bars and restaurants.we had breakfast at cafe Albanese every day (5 min drive away). Agrigento is 15 minutes away and there’s plenty to explore within a 30 minute drive radius. Overall, we had a relaxing stay and would gladly come back!"
