"Great easy stay in this hotel, excellent condition (opened 18 months ago but everything as new). Room spacious, light and well appointed. No view but didn’t matter. Bathroom excellent, and overall design well done. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in for a while. Would definitely return. Only complaint, weirdly, was very noisey bedding!! The mattress protector creaks against the mattress. Very odd. "

"This place was as advertised, it did the job for one night. Was clean and check in was easy. Because it’s on marine parade it’s really really noisy throughout the night and the bedrooms are right beside the road. The property could use some touches to make it more comfortable, it’s very bare bones and the bedding is not very comfy but if you just need a place to stay for the night it’s all good. I don’t think I’d personally stay here again but there’s nothing wrong with the place! "

"My sister and I stayed at Fig Cottage for a weekend up in Havelock North, it was a great location with easy access to the town. The cottage was very well set up with many breakfast options. Both beds were ready for us on our arrival. We enjoyed playing some of the games and the visits from Lexi the dog, as well as the cute surprise of apricots and raspberries in the morning. The garden was a beautiful setting. We very much enjoyed our stay. "

"Great spot for the dog - & us. Soo grateful to be able to have our dog with us. Everything we needed for a weekend away including a very comfy bed. Te Awanga has a lovely villagey feel."

"We had a lovely stay at Didi’s - very handy for exploring Napier but also a nice cosy home away from home when we were staying in. Great to have use of a washing machine whilst travelling about, and genius idea to have all instructions for any devices on laminated sheets throughout the property - even I couldn’t go wrong! Dropped one star unfortunately (due to neighbours rather than the property itself ) as next door had loud music playing most of the day into the night, and there was a large...
