"L'Ardoise is a beautiful seaside community. We stayed in this house 5 years ago and enjoyed it very much. Last month we returned for a second time to enjoy the privacy, quiet and the amazing views from the deck and the upstairs windows. The house is spacious, well equipped and very easy to find. The property manager is friendly, nearby and easy to reach. We enjoyed our return stay."

"We stayed there for four nights. Rob and Janet were super gracious and very accommodating. The unit was amazing. The views were spectacular and the pictures did not do that justice. We got to see two bald eagles, sore and perch a top trees within our sight line of the deck and a really cute fox. The animal kind. The only regret was that we couldn’t stay there longer. "

"The property had an amazing view. It had both indoor and outdoor furniture to make it relaxing. The only problem was how hot it was inside with no air conditioning. The big windows allow for a great view but also let in full sun during the whole day. Open windows and fans helped but only in the evenings. and no air conditioning"

"We had a wonderful relaxing time. After spending four days exploring the area, it was a treat to jump into the whirlpool. One evening counting the stars, the next listening to the waves crash against the stones as the sun was setting. "Well equipped trailer with a beautiful view. We did on the whole enjoy staying at the property. It is quite a remote property which was a little nerve wracking at first as our signal was limited but the setting is worth it. Only about 20 mins to St Peters. Our main feedback was just around the compost toilet, whilst eco efficient, it does have a smell and this smell progressively got worse with more use. We did flag this with the owner who was quick to respond and suggested using the fan. We...

"The room had been upgraded. Wonderful beds. The hall carpet was new and the walls painted recently. Beautiful First Nations art on display. Everything was clean. Food and service in the dining room were very good. Great view from the dining room. Since our last stay in August the golf course has taken a beating. The greens were brown and hard. Some of the bunkers were damaged and hadn't been repaired this late in the season."
