I can’t believe this place wasn’t busier the two times we’ve stayed here. The price is more than fair, the rooms are always clean and comfortable, and for both of our stays the staff was so helpful and friendly. With every return trip to Roanoke, I’ll be staying at this hotel.

Assigned room was far from the office and the electronic key did not work. The clerk checked the key and said it was programmed correctly. I asked for a second key "just in case" and this key did work. Not a huge deal but it was cold and the room was the farthest from the office!

DO NOT STAY HERE. Carpet was filthy, I was concerned there could be bed bugs. Sheets smelled awful. There was another renter screaming at her spouse all night as well as the next morning. Our family got very little sleep. Did not feel safe. Do not stay here.

Thankfully, I had lived in Roanoke previously, so I had a general idea of the hotel's location; however, there were no visible signs indicating the location of the hotel if you were traveling north on I-81 nor heading south on the I-581 connector leading to downtown Roanoke. The front desk clerk was welcoming and helpful. The key card system for operating the door to the room was the worst ever. Simply put, it sucks! It needs to be replaced asap. Get rid of the system where you merely touch the lock with the card. Install the system where you insert the card into the lock. This is a more reliable system. The carpet in our room needs to be replaced. It has served its purpose.

The toilet was broken and leaked everywhere, we had to use the towels to cleanup the water and the staff did not want to replace the towels and said we would be charged for the wet towels?!
