St Marys Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

8.0 out of 10, Very good, (1)
"The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. A minor niggle, but it was a bit cluttered with cushions and throws in the sitting room - the throws just slid off the leather sofas and the cushions were too big and too many, so were surplus to requirements. The location suited us very well, with a host of lovely walks and places to visit nearby. We had a wonderful break and can recommend!"

"Cosy, well equipped cottage with a lovely view. Our elderly parents loved that they didn't have to go anywhere to enjoy the beach and they could get out for easy walks. With amenities just a few minutes drive away and local to wildlife viewing options this worked well for us. None of us were keen to leave."

3 bedroom accommodation in Rockcliffe, near Dalbeattie

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (1)
"The cottage was as expected . Very well equipped with new appliances etc . Huge utility room made up for tiny kitchen . Beds had good mattresses . Good blackout curtains which is rare .Parking was as described and was a pain but car park is free and lots of room . We were too hot as the downstairs heating couldn't be turned off and it was unexpected hot weather . Had to leave the upstairs windows open . Loved the character of the cottage and the fact that I could walk to a bench by the sea...

"I cannot recommend The Beachcomber highly enough. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I have stayed in many holiday
parks
and this accommodation is on another level. The enclosed decking area was a sun trap, the beds were very comfortable, I could not ask for more. The whole park is beautiful and it's worth taking a walk up to the top for some fantastic views.I hope to come back soon."
